FitHue is designed to help you discover, analyze, compare, and organize activewear colors and outfits. We respect your privacy and collect only the information necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the FitHue experience.
Information We Collect
We may collect and store the following information:
- Account information, such as your email address
- Wardrobe items you create or choose to save
- Colors and other information associated with your wardrobe items
- Profile image, if you choose to upload one
- Subscription and purchase status
- Basic usage, diagnostic, and technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app
Our infrastructure and service providers may also process technical information, such as device information, app activity, error information, and IP addresses contained in server or access logs.
Photos
FitHue uses images in different ways depending on the feature you use.
Analysis Photos
When you submit a photo for color, clothing item, or outfit analysis, the image is processed temporarily to provide the requested analysis.
FitHue uses OpenAI's API to perform AI-based image analysis. This means the image is transmitted to OpenAI for processing.
FitHue does not store the original analysis photo in its persistent storage. Only information or detected items that you choose to save are added to your wardrobe.
OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models by default, and FitHue has not opted in to sharing API data for model training. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and security purposes, unless longer retention is required by law.
Profile Images
If you upload a profile image:
- The image is securely stored
- It is not publicly accessible
- Access is restricted to your account
- The image is served using secure, time-limited access
You can update or delete your profile image at any time.

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate FitHue. These providers receive or process information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Our service providers process information according to their own applicable privacy and security practices.

FitHue uses Supabase for database and storage services. FitHue's Supabase infrastructure is hosted using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US East (Ohio) region in the United States.
Some of our other service providers may also process information in the United States or other countries.
As a result, your information may be transferred to and processed outside your province, state, or country of residence. When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide and operate FitHue or as otherwise required for legitimate business, security, or legal purposes.
When you delete wardrobe items or your profile image, the associated FitHue data is deleted.
When you delete your FitHue account through the app, your account and associated user information stored by FitHue are deleted immediately.
Certain service providers may retain limited information for their own security, fraud prevention, transaction, legal, or compliance requirements. For example, OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring unless longer retention is legally required.
